After sailing over 15’000 blue water miles, crossing the Pacific Ocean in both directions We offer a unique experience onboard our newly refitted 56 foot , 2 masted classic ketch , the Mayan Star. Its wide open teak decks allow you to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the Pacific Ocean under sail by the warm Pacific breeze that makes California unique with its long golden hours and sunsets . A perfect way to experience the abundance of marine wildlife from whales to dolphins to seals that are all drawn to the tranquility of a sailing experience. Also a perfect location for film and photoshoots!! 100% Refund up to 30 days prior to the booking. I have one word to describe the way we felt aboard the Mayan Star — special. It really was an experience, including the vibe that they have curated to fit. It won’t be hard to convince my husband to allow us to book more trips in the future!

The most extraordinary boat, crew and experience imaginable. Mike, Veronica and the crew couldn't have been more hospitable or legendary - nor could the boat be more rich with style and heart.

After spending our twenties and thirties working within the film and music industry directing such artists as Tom Petty, Jamiroquai ,Brian Adams, Sineade O’Connor etc, Captain Mike (English) and I , Veronica , (Italian) decided to follow our dreams.. So We set sail and crossed the Pacific Ocean covering over 15’000 blue water miles whilst living within the thousands of atolls islands of the South Pacific. After this 4 year adventure , we’re now back in California, where we’ve decided to share our passion for sailing, Sunsets, aquatic life the pacific ocean. Thus we are offering a unique opportunity for you to join us aboard the Mayan Star, this 56’ classic teak twin masted Ketch, simply to relax on her wide teak decks, whilst sailing, whale watch, meditate or enjoying the unique golden sunsets that define Southern California as such an exceptional place in the world.
