Full of stories behind them, ready for us to enjoy together. The Cíes Islands: We call it the Sicca antiquity. For many years, men visited and inhabited the Cíes Islands. They have been found in them archaeological remains that date the human presence on the 3500 a. C., although the remains of the first human settlement of which there is evidence is a Castro from the beginning of the Iron Age. There is also evidence of a settlement dating from the Bronze Age (between 500 and 100 BC), which is a hill fort located on the slopes of Mount Faro. The Ría de Arosa: The estuary of Arosa (in Galician, Arousa ) is the largest of the estuaries of Galicia. It forms part of the Rías Bajas and is located between the Ría de Muros and Noya to the north and the Ría de Pontevedra to the south. The peninsulas of Barbanza (province of La Coruña) and Salnés (province of Pontevedra) delimit their coasts by the north and the south, respectively. It is the largest estuary in Galicia, although it is not the one that reaches the highest bathymetric levels with 69 meters of maximum depth in the mouth. It has numerous islands and islets among which the island of Arosa, La Toja (with a famous spa and various hotels of up to 5 stars), Sálvora in the mouth and Cortegada in the head. The main rivers that flow into it are the Ulla river at its head and the Umia river in the inlet that forms the peninsula of El Grove with the coast of Cambados. Ría de Pontevedra: The estuary of Pontevedra is located in the province of Pontevedra, Galicia (Spain). It is one of the three main sea entrances of the Rias Bajas de Galicia, being the most tourist area of the community. It also has the characteristic of being the most regular of them and the third largest of all of Galicia, with 145 km⊃2; of the surface. In the estuary, there are several islands, among which are Tambo, at the bottom of the estuary, and in its mouth, are the one of Ons, the largest, and that of Onceta or Onza, the smallest, you are last part of the National Park of the Atlantic Islands. At its southern end t,he cove of Aldán opens up. This river has an approximate volume of 3937 hm⊃3;. One of the main characteristics of the estuary is the number of rafts (nurseries) that exist. Ría de Aldán: The Ría de Aldán is a small Galician estuary that is part of the well-known group of the Rías Bajas. It is located at the end of the Morrazo peninsula, with its entrance limited by the Couso point (O Hio. Cangas) and the Udra cape (Beluso, Bueu) and oriented to the N-NW, aligned approximately with the Ons and Onza islands. The river that ends at the beginning of the estuary is the Orxas River , forming a wide inlet in a bag that covers the beaches of San Cibrán in Aldán, and Vilariño in O Hio.
