Designed for Blue Water Sailors It was designed by Robert Perry based on the Hans Christian 34 and built in 1979 in Taiwan: a long keel, canoe stern and cutter rig makes the Union 36 a balanced helm sailboat for ocean cruising. It offers comfortable sailing with a very reassuring and practical interior for voyaging worldwide: the lower deck saloon comprises a dinette settee, a galley, plenty of storage and seating, nav station, full headroom and cabin with berths. The main deck, full in teak, features a round cockpit with Bimini cover and seating, bowsprit, mast pulpit and stern pushpit, cushioned and shaded amidship & front deck. Ofrece un veleo comfortable con interiores muy prácticos y acogedores para viaje incluso por el mundo: el salon en la cubierta inferior comprende cocineta, sala comedor, suficiente espacio de almacenaje y cómodos asientos, estación de navegación, baño completo y cabina con literas. La cubierta principal, completamente en teca, cuenta con una tina redonda con toldo y asientos, pomo de popa, púlpito de mástil y un hermoso bauprés, cubierta de proa y en medio del barco acojinada y con sombra. Additional Terms & Information
CANCELLATION: Confirmed Bookings Within 15 days of the Trip Due Date: Cancellation prior 15 days notice does not Apply any Penalty Charge; 72 to 24 hrs Cancellation Notice apply a 50% of the Total Charter Cost (TCC) and a 15 Days to 12 Month Before the Trip Due Date Confirmed Bookings: Prior 20 Days Cancellation Notice of the Due Date a Penalty Charge Porcentage of the TCC apply according to the following scheme: 20% for Fishing Boats, Fishing Yachts, Sailboats and Catamarans, 15% for Cruiser Yachts and 10% for Sport-Flybridge and Luxury Yachts to Cover Managing Expenses and Preventing Availability of Vessel. Cancellation within the 20 days of the Trip Due Date will be subjected to the Previous policy in (a). Holiday & Selected Dates: There will be no refunds for cancelations during long weekends, special holidays, Easter week, and, from December 22nd through January 7th. LATE DEPARTURES: Boat charter time counts upon scheduled departure, whether the passengers are yet onboard or not. If there is a late departure due to delay of one or several passengers, the trip will be completed according to the remaining time of the charter. CRUISING SPEED. Boat Charters will be operated according to the stated Cruising Speed in the Brochure or Description sheet of each Vessel; they may vary according to the Design, Boat Length or Type and Water Activity chosen. Therefore Trips which demand a higher cruising speed by the customer may apply additional charges according to the fuel consumption cost and/or time not covered on the regular charter basis. WEATHER: The boat goes out no matter the weather, rain or shine, UNLESS the Port or Sea Navigation is closed or restricted; if navigation is allowed within the bay, the route plan and destinations will be shortened or adjusted to match a charter, and a refund will be issued for the difference paid if applicable. Rain does not constitute grounds for cancellation or rescheduling in most scenarios. If Port is Closed or Sea Navigation is restricted due to an extreme weather condition such as: hurricane, lightning storm or tornado when it is a dangerous to be in the water, we reserves the right to reschedule the charter with no additional charge or penalty. REFUNDS & RESCHEDULES: The Captain has the final decision in determining if a charter must be rescheduled or canceled due to the conditions mentioned before and a full or partial refund may apply according to the each circumstance. There will be no refunds due to Sea sickness at any time of the trip; once the vessel has returned to Port, any further departure the same day is considered an independent charter and service. LIABILITY ABOARD: Clients accept liability for damages or loss of equipment due to negligence and, if applicable, an open credit card voucher or secure deposit will be required when signing a service contract. We are responsible for the security and safe transportation of its passengers and offers a Full Coverage Passengers Liability Insurance for every operated charter. Passengers must strictly follow the Captains orders and crew instructions to participate in a safe trip. CHILDREN LIABILITY: Children aboard are supervised by crew members most of the time, nevertheless they travel under the responsibility and strong supervision of their Parents on board, in the sea and on land; therefore we accepts no liability on this matter. Additional hours should be requested to the Captain during the trip and before the vessel is returning, or about to get back to Port. In order to provide a great service for each charter, we highly recommend you to inform us prior departure if an extension of the time frame is needed. The hour cost may vary according to each vessel and the time extension purpose. EXTRA HOURS. Additional hours can be requested to your Ship’s Captin or Crew during the Trip and the Vessel is returning back to the Harbor. In order to provide the best Service and Trip itinerary on every Cahrter, We highly recommend you to Inform us through your Concierge or Travel Agent Prior Your Trip Date / Boarding. The Cost for the Additional Hours may vary according to each Vessel, whether Fishing, Sailing boat or Yacht and the state of the Trip in the Itinerary (Anchored or Cruising). We suggest to ask this ahead of time to be informed. ALCOHOL & BEHAVIOR: The Ship’s Captain has the authority to cancel the trip if any passenger’s behavior is jeopardizing the integrity of the vessel or its occupants by means of improper or incoherent actions contrary to the service the ship is been chartered for, there will be no refund and, if applicable, the Captain may have the obligation to notify the Harbor Master if, during the trip, an illegal activity is been undergone by any passenger. DRUGS & WEAPONS: Its our policy to prohibit the possession and/or use of drugs and weapons onboard of any of our vessels. Any possession or use of drugs and/or weapons by our passengers during the trip will result in the immediate return at the client’s expense and authorities will be notified. SHIP CABINS. Both, Bathrooms and ship cabins are NON SMOKING PLACES. During the trip, their use is prohibited for illegal activities such as: Use of drugs and/or weapons, sex with minors, improper manners not specified within this agreement which, in general, may totally or partially damage the reputation of us, or, the current boat state: furniture, decorative items, upholstery, electronic devices, carpets, mirrors or props aboard. The cost of missing items and/or repairing damaged ones will be at client’s expense. PETS. Pets are not allowed aboard most of our vessels; please ask your concierge or travel agent prior making a booking.
