We offer the Bridges & Islands Half Day sail aboard our catamaran.  This cruise is our most popular short trip. This half day cruise takes you under the iconic Forth Bridges and past the Islands of Inchgarvie and Inchcolm before setting sail and routing back up river towards Rosyth and Port Edgar, passing some friendly Seals en route. There is plenty of time for all guests to “learn the ropes” and take the helm or simply to sit back and enjoy the experience, scenery and wildlife. We take advantage of the Forth's splendid natural surroundings and local areas of interest, including landmarks of national importance such as the Forth Rail and Road bridges, historical sights, the Forth islands and stunning coast lines, to make your sail special. You can relax or take the opportunity to be part of the crew under expert supervision: the choice is yours. Your safety is paramount and nothing has been overlooked, down to the provision of professional waterproof clothing, to ensure the experience is a delight. Your local skipper and crew will be on board throughout your sail. Skipper, Colin Henderson, has over thirty years experience of sailing in the Forth Estuary and can provide expert tuition if required, combined with local knowledge to impart information and history on the sailing area. Safety is never taken for granted: we ensure you are properly instructed and supervised at all times. Our skipper is fully trained and holds the following qualifications: Commercially endorsed RYA Yachtmaster Offshore Sail certificate (up to 200 tons) Commercially endorsed RYA Yachtmaster Offshore Power certificate (up to 200 tons) RYA Yachtmaster shore based theory certificate RYA Sea Survival certificate Current RYA First Aid course certificate Valid MCA medical Maritime Radio Operator certificate All of our boats have been coded and are inspected annually to ensure that they comply with the most rigorous safety standards.
