We will come to pick you up at the airport, bring you to the hotel and we will be at your disposal for the entire duration of the course. Very few places in Europe have the wave and wind conditions we find in Fuerteventura, just call it "The European Hawaii" for the quality of its waves and radical conditions to be found ALL year around. The best conditions for expert surfers ranging from November to April, in these months is when the waves are bigger and there is less wind, which create perfectly glassy waves. The water temperature is 24 degrees and the outside temperature is 2528 degrees. When you arrive to a new place the smartest thing to do is to find a local school and ask about the site best suited to your capabilities, we shouldn't make the mistake to push us into the water without knowing what to expect, no matter which try experts and novices, each site is different and the ocean is not to be played. Canary Surf Academy will be happy to help you choose the best suited to your expected spot. Throughout the entire east coast we find many spots for stand up paddle surfing such as Rocky Point - The Entubadera - The donkey - Puerto Lajas. All these sites are relatively easy, suitable for intermediate surfers, ie all those who know how to paddle and stand up well on the board. For beginners the best site is Playa Blanca, located 3 km from the airport, and 5 minutes drive from our center up going towards Corralejo. One sandy beach where the water is not too deep and no need to paddle far is the most used by local schools for introductory courses, but in the winter we can easily find two meter waves.p pEl Cotillonbsphas black sand beach, it works all year, big day can be prohibitive experienced surfers also because of the strong currents and shore break which often reaches 4 meters. Optimal for beginners from May to October.p pThe Donkeynbspis located in the natural park of the dunes, quite accessible to intermediate surfers, also called "glass beach" by its crashing completely glassy. Intermediate difficulty, in the summer there are many people. Across the north shore you can find many spots, taking the dirt road from Corralejo that goes to Cotillo are: Right German - La Caleta - Mussels - Iron - Majanicho - Bubbles ............. and many many more. We are located 5 km from the airport, in the resort town of Caleta de Fuste, and every day going to surf in the best spot under the conditions that arise.
