The host couple was delightful! They provided a knowledgeable history of the surrounding area. And they are also very experienced sailors which made for a fantastic adventure at sea! The 32’ Catalina was in ‘ship’ shape and was very comfortable for our large family of eight! Would highly recommend!

We had a great day. An exiting day. An informative day. Dean was great to meet and sail with. He did his best to accomodate everything we wanted. He was friendly, and easy to interact with, answering all our many questions and helping us greatly in our growing understanding of the world of sailing. I would have no hesitation in recomending Dean and his lovely boat to anyone wanting any of the sailing experinences he offers or one you might design yourself. Highly recomended. Michael.

Additional Terms & Information

Frequently Asked Questions: What if the weather is not suitable? - We are realistic about Melbourne’s weather. If a charter cannot proceed due to bad weather (either because you don’t like the look of the weather or we don’t like to look of it from a safety perspective) the charter will be either postponed to another day or cancelled with a full refund at your option. The most important thing for us is for you to enjoy your sailing experience. We are happy to postpone to another day (often we can postpone to the following day) or if no other day can work for you, will cheerfully refund your charter fee. Will I get seasick? - In most cases, people who fear becoming seasick find that the movement of the boat is not so bad and is not sufficient to induce a motion sickness reaction. Typically, we do not operate in conditions that are likely to induce seasickness. Some participants take travel sickness medication prior a couple of hours prior to their charter.
