We organise cruises through sea lanes per nostalgic pram, with the aim of promoting interest in nature, culture, history, art and recreation. The Lois is equipped with tables in the middle and benches on either side of the boat. In addition, the boat has an information book with background information on the area and the history of Makkum.  Since May 2002 it is possible to Makkum the beautiful surroundings explore by barge. The area consists of farmland and pastures. One sees a lot of grazing cows, horses and sheep. Also breed here several bird species and the area is a haven for migratory birds (mainly geese) that hibernate here.
