While major structural changes are being made every day in cities around the world to improve wheelchair accessibility, there are still lots of obstacles for people with disabilities who are looking to enjoy travel experiences. Boating can be a challenge - not all boat decks and designs are made for wheelchair accessibility, some watersports do not have modified equipment, and it can be a lot of work to plan a handicap-friendly vacation or travel experience.

On the GetMyBoat platform, however, we have a variety of wheelchair-accessible and handicap-friendly boating and water experiences, in destinations all around the world. While it’s always good to communicate any special requests or needs to your captains beforehand, here are some great experiences that any GetMyBoat renter can enjoy.
