As a surprise birthday present for my husband, sailing with Captain Alberto and his most welcoming wife was a delight, for both my husband and myself! We also discovered what a good sailing teacher Captain Alberto was, and both he and his wife shared their infectious passion for sailing and their sloop. It was a beautiful sunset evening sail we will not soon forget! Thank you to you both!!!!
Cursing on the River on a Thursday evening was everything! We surprised my daughter for her Birthday and it amazing! We had a dance party! We sang together! We embraced watching the sun go down changing colors and being so breathtaking, my goodness there is nothing like the light of the moon on the water. The sun set to the East and the moon showed up to the west, Aaa-ma-zing! Captain was a gracious host, dropped the anchor so we could chill and chat, this guy is great and I would recommend him 100 times over!!! My daughter LOVED her Birthday surprise on the River!
What an amazing experience! We loved Captain Alberto and Grace. They let us take the wheel for a little bit, allowed us to play our own music, and talked to us about sailing and the Chesapeake Bay. Overall it was an incredible experience. They were so hospitable and wonderful. Highly recommend!
Dushaune and Ada were both awesome during our trip! They provided a fun environment for my family and I and made us feel so comfortable on their boat! They also took us to a nice island to go swimming at! We had a great time with them and will definitely go back! 10/10!
We can't wait to come back and experience new marine adventures with Captain Joe and his Sol Searcher again. According to my 13 y.o. kid, it was one of the best birthdays she has ever had. The sailboat is so beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. Captain Joe was very hospitable, friendly, and considerate. He told us a lot about sailing and made my daughter's dream come true - we saw a rare and hardly accessible caisson structure Baltimore Harbor Lighthouse. It was amazing! Upon return we had some delicious brownies baked by Joe's wife. Always appreciate a personal touch. We felt very welcome and had a great time! Highly recommend this captain and his gorgeous sailboat!
Captain Joe is an excellent sailor and has great communication. When I booked the private charter I reached out to let Joe know that I would be proposing on his vessel, we had a few date changes that joe worked through with me flawlessly. The pictures on the listing do not do this boat and captain justice! 10/10 would recommend!
